What Is The Suspension Period?

The suspension period is a process in which zoning plans are announced and citizens can report their opinions and objections. In this process, issues such as details of zoning plans, plan notes, island and parcel information, and construction conditions are presented to the public. The suspension period is a mandatory stage for zoning plans to take legal effect. The suspension period may vary depending on the type of zoning plan. In general, a suspension period of 30 days is applied for master development plans and 15 days for application development plans. During the suspension period, opinions and objections regarding zoning plans must be notified in writing to the relevant municipality or institution.
