Military Security Zones are military zones established in strategically important places in order to ensure the security of the country and where civilian entry and exit are not allowed. These regions are determined and announced by the decision of the Council of Ministers. Land, structures, facilities and materials located within the Military Security Zone are subject to the inspection of the military authorities. Those wishing to enter or exit the Military Security Zone must obtain prior permission from the military authorities. Otherwise, they may face legal sanctions.
